The Richard Mille RM 65-01 “McLaren W1” is a high-performance split-seconds chronograph inspired by McLaren’s latest hypercar. Crafted in Carbon TPT and grade 5 titanium, its tonneau-shaped case measures 43.84 × 49.94 × 16.19 mm, reflecting the sculpted and aerodynamic design language of the W1.
The skeletonized dial showcases an intricate architecture influenced by automotive engineering, accented with signature papaya orange and blue details. A split-seconds chronograph with a one-tenth-second display is complemented by a highly legible layout, delivering both technical depth and visual clarity.
Powered by the automatic RMAC4 caliber, operating at 5 Hz (36,000 vph), the watch features a split-seconds chronograph with double column wheels and a rapid-winding “jump-start” pusher for instant mainspring recharge. Offering a power reserve of approximately 60 hours, it represents one of the most advanced chronographs in modern watchmaking.
