The Richard Mille RM 50-01 “Romain Grosjean Lotus F1 G-Sensor” is an ultra-complex, motorsport-inspired timepiece developed in collaboration with the Formula 1 driver. Produced in a limited series of just 30 pieces, it represents one of the most technically advanced chronographs in the Richard Mille collection.
The tonneau-shaped case, measuring approximately 50 mm, is crafted from Carbon NTPT, offering exceptional lightness, strength, and shock resistance. Its layered construction reflects the high-tech materials used in Formula 1 engineering.
The skeletonized dial reveals a highly sophisticated manual-winding movement featuring a tourbillon and split-seconds chronograph. A unique mechanical G-sensor is integrated into the movement, capable of measuring and recording G-forces experienced during dynamic activity.
Powered by a manual-winding tourbillon split-seconds caliber, the movement delivers outstanding precision and stability under extreme conditions. The open-worked architecture allows full visibility of the intricate mechanical components from both the front and sapphire caseback.
Fitted with a rubber strap, the RM 50-01 “Grosjean Lotus F1” combines cutting-edge materials, advanced chronograph functionality, and motorsport innovation—making it a highly sought-after piece for collectors.
